How was everyone’s Christmas time? I worked 8-2:30, then drove 2 hours to see my mom for an hour and a half and then my dad for an hour and a half, then drove 2 hours back home. The time I had with the family was really good and the gifts were awesome. I enjoyed the drive alone and listening to my hometown’s local alternative station. They always seem to play the Beastie Boys while I’m driving and I fucking love that.
A few weeks ago while at work I found a hundred dollar bill on the floor. I turned it over to my boss and he kept it in the safe with my name on it. I guess no one ever claimed it because today it was handed over to me :) I can’t believe it! It’s just going to go towards bills, give me a little more breathing room :)

It wouldn't be the holidays without family for me. I drove from Big Sur to Lake Tahoe (lucky, yes) to surprise my mom and sister and dad on christmas eve...though I forgot the presents in Santa Cruz.
