So I was at work yesterday ringing people up and a middle aged couple were in front of my register, I was going about ringing up her items and talking to the woman when her husband who was to my left side reaches across the counter, in front of his wife and grabs my right arm, brings it back in front of him and is like twisting it to see my flower sleeve. I was in shock a bit that he actually did it like I'm a fucking ragdoll. It is probably in my top 10 of awkward moments. But I looked him straight in the eye and calmly said, "um, Did I say you could touch me?" His face dropped like, "oh shit, I'm an idiot." Yeah, you forgot I'm a human, jackass. He apologized, his wife said he didn't mean to. He was really embarrassed. I said I wasn't mad but it's something to think about. They felt so bad that after they left they called the store to apologize to me again. I think I made an impression that had nothing to do with my tattoos. But yeah, this is the reason I wear long sleeves to work most of the time. Some people ruin it for everybody, but I don't have time for other people's opinions
