Hi folks,
I need a little travel advice?
I'm thinking of road tripping in July to Myrtle Beach with my little sis (she's 16.) I just want to relax on the beach, enjoy the waves and eat a ton of seafood.
What I'm wondering is:
Where are some good places to stay? We aren't high maintenance but we still want to be safe.
Where are some good places to eat?
Is there anything else we should do while we're there besides enjoying the beach?
I haven't enjoyed the ocean since 2003 (and that was in Maine, freezing!!!) I'm also really excited to have my sister go with me because we get along really well, she's getting older and we're becoming good friends, she looks up to me and I actually look up to her too (aww) She's easy to entertain because she is a bookworm so all we need are books and the beach. What high school girl doesn't dream of a road trip? So if you are from there or have been there, help a Suicide Girl out!

Also, Eye Glasses Update: Wow, I am loving my new glasses! I wear them all the time (doctor said, "wear them when you feel like you need to.") well I paid $300+ for them, I'm wearing them all the time, so now when I take off my glasses my eyes are saying, "wtf, put them back on!" I didn't realize how much my eyes were straining to see things. Now my eyes don't have to work so hard and are beginning to relax and when I take my glasses off to change or anything like that I can tell a difference. And I can read street signs again. miao!!

Broadway at the Beach was a fun outdoor attraction. Lots of little shops and things to entertain (aquarium, movie theatre, etc). There are tons of hotels down by the beach. I didn't stay in one, but I know you can get some pretty good deals.
There's a great Japanese buffet out there, but I don't remember what it's called! =/
