okay, so here is a little update for all of you
My apartment is pretty much unpacked, I still need to sort out my kitchen, there are only 2 kitchen drawers, I don't know where to put all my gadgets. When I get the cash it looks like I'll be making a trip to Bed Bath and Beyond (or wherever) and find something to help me out with that. And I'm sure I'll be donating even more stuff. My kitchen has not gone through its minimalism purge yet.
So Wednesday was a day of online applications. They take forever so I only got 3 done; Walgreens, Petsmart, and Borders. Got a call yesterday from a Walgreens (there are like a bazillion around here) interested in an interview. Went in this morning and had the interview, was offered the job right then, took my drug test so all I'm waiting for is a call on Tuesday to say I'm cleared and ready for scheduling. They want me as a photo specialist, it really has nothing to do with my photography background, mostly because I worked at a grocery chain that he knew was heavy on customer service. The Walgreens store is a very nice one and also really busy and I'm going to be getting at least 30 hours a week, so yay money! This weekend will be a search for a long sleeve blue polo shirt. Of course I have to find one right when the spring collections are coming in But I'm sure I'll find something, if not then a regular blue polo and a long sleeve shirt underneath will suffice. So, alas, I'm no longer a donut mistress! Don't know what I'll change my occupation title to just yet. I'll take the weekend to figure it out. I'm really pleased with getting a job so quickly, I really needed one as soon as possible so I can help out with bills and I am finally living in a cheap enough place that I can start saving money for who knows what (tattoos, travel, school?) We'll see
