What the %&@#?!
I had a nice time hanging out after the Common Rotation show the other night.
I spent most of the night talking to this guy about all kinds of random stuff. I didn't even think anything of it. It was just talking a little flirty, nice, whatever.
It turned out we lived nearby so we headed home together. The closer we got to his house the more flirty/touchy he gets (blatantly - nothing subtle here folks).
So of course I'm thinking either he's going to invite me up or wants to make it more in context when he asks for my number or kisses me goodnight.
But I wasn't even really thinking that hard I was just kind of going with it.
Then when we get to his door he says something like are you going to get home alright and gives me a long touchy hug and says he'd better be going.
I say "don't you want to exchange information or something?"
He says "I shouldn't"
me-you shouldn't
him "no, I have a girlfriend"
me "oh. uhhh...."
him "I'm sorry if I led you on or anything."
me (too confused to formulate anything awesome) "yeah, that was really confusing"
him "are you sure you're gonna get home okay? (two blocks).
ugh... I just don't understand why anybody would do that?
I mean as assholish as it would be I could even understand the logic behind sleeping with someone and then being like oh but I can't see you again/give you my number because actually I'm in a relationship and this was a mistake. Or something along those lines.
Why suddenly get all touchy/romantic-flirty with someone for 15 minutes for no purpose?
Annoying.
