I hate Summer. I hate the heat, I hate the sun, I hate the humidity and I especiallly hate living above a launderette with cockroaches. 
I have just caught the first one of the year the size of my thumb and the cat is scared shitless. I guess she hasn't seen anything move faster then me (not that fast...ever) and my boy (a bit faster then me if answering the door to the takeaway man). I was hoping I could train her to kill the damn little things but her initial response is a little disheartening. I even kept the miniture light sabre from the Ricicles box to put on a liitle belt for her but it appears the force is not strong in this one.

Your cat probably couldn't hurt a biggish lizard....cats tend not to be too keen on reptiles anyway. And it'd need to be fairly reasonable in size so its harder for it to escape! The just let it loose around the house every now and then for some lunch!
