Does life go on after 6 years? I never had that kind of relationship with anyone. Must be intense, to be with someone that long. How can you just break away from that kind of a bond? Why do people stay in such long relationships with each other. What's the point if you're not soul mates. Not that I'm saying soul mates exist. Or don't exist. There are probably multiple soul mates just like there are probably multiple universes. You just gotta get lined up with one correctly...be in the path of the tornado I guess...


I'm trying to console and understand a female friend who is going through a rough time with her boyfriend of 6 and 1/2 years. They've gone on break before but this time she feels it's for good. She can't be with anyone else. To me that sounds stupid because they've been together since high school. High school...when do high school sweet hearts stay together for a life time? Not that it doesn't happen, it does. Sometimes sweethearts go out and have a few meaningful relationships with other people that eventually end, like everything does, and then go back to their high school sweetheart and get married. Is this the path she's going down? Or is it really over forever? Do I have a chance? I think not, Heir Donovan...but that's fine, she could be a soul mate of mine but I could never live the rest of my life with her.
