well, well, well. i have a job now. a real fucking job. a job that will force me to get up at early assed hours in the morning and pack a lunch. a job that will make me drive down charles street during rush hour so i can park my too big car parallel on the most crowded street in baltimore city. a job that will cut off all interaction with the outside world, including walks in parks, rides in boats, midday sun-bathing. a job that will slowly suck the life from my flesh and into a computer.
well, at least now i can afford to tattoo depressing things on myself to fill the void.
oh man, that was so sad. let's think more positively:
i'll never have to work on the weekend again.
i'll be home by 5:30 every day.
i'll be able to live above the poverty line.
i get paid vacations.
floating holidays.
i'm allowed to be sick.
they pay for my school.
okay, but im not so sure those attributes outweigh the fact that the job will kill me slowly...subtly...definitely.
I DON"T WANT A JOB! I WANT TO BE AN ARTIST! WHO PAINTS WITH HER TOES AND DRINKS GREEN TEA! I WANT TO WEAR SOCKS AND SHORTS ALL DAY AND WRITE POEMS ABOUT DONKEYS!

It is all a trade-off hon. But, I am living proof that you can have both. You just have to fix in your mind what sort of situation you want to have and keep taking small steps in that direction. Ahh, working at home and getting a real paycheck rocks. It gives me all sorts of time to waste on doing things like posting on SG...
