I got another rejection slip today. This time, the editor wrote it on the back of a shopping list which was about 2 by 3 inches and written by a little kid. confused I get the weirdest rejection slips. I mean, do they really think they're being clever? whatever Those who cannot write, edit. I want to change that trend, though. Maybe when I grow up, I'll start a magazine. If I rejected someone, I wouldn't send it on the back of a shopping list.

wait a minute!!! I'm an editor, and I like to think I'm not a bad writer either. I just prefer to edit than having to write about things I don't feel like writing about. I'd rather write when I feel like it :p but I know what you mean though. Maybe I'm working to change the trend too! smile

But really, you should you be glad you didn't get that job. Do you really want to work with people that are such jerks they send you a rejection slip on the back of a shopping list? that's just low.
