Wow, this was incredibly grounding and inspiring to read. It’s clear that you’ve achieved a lot through dedication and hard work, but what really stands out is your humility and awareness of how fragile life can be. That perspective alone is a gift! This ruck challenge you’ve set for yourself is nothing short of heroic  - not just physically, but mentally. It’s powerful to see someone intentionally stepping so far outside their comfort zone, especially with a focus on discipline, camaraderie, and resilience. You’re absolutely right - the mind is the real battleground. To remind myself how fortunate I am, I try to take time regularly to reflect on where I’ve come from, and I also stay close to people who’ve helped shape me. Giving back in small ways, whether through acts of kindness or creative expression, helps me stay connected to that sense of gratitude. Wolf Moon 🐺

From January 12th through the 15th, we will witness the Wolf Moon. This name originates from a time when hunters ventured out into the cold winter nights to find food for their families. As they braved the harsh conditions, they would often hear wolves howling at the moon throughout the night. Thus giving it the name Wolf Moon 🐺❄️

@wizard0 Thanks for the recommendations! I have not read The Dresden Files or Melanie Rawn’s books yet, but I will definitely be adding them to my list. I am a big fan of Patrick Rothfuss’s work as well. I just wish he’d write faster! I am sure all the George RR Martin fans say the same thing about his series.  @kiley I completely agree about The Wheel of Time. It’s a long series, but absolutely worth it. The first book really pulls you in, and once you’re hooked, it’s hard to stop!

I read the first book of this and loved it. It was a wee struggle for me so I kept it to the one book
