The Party and The Festival
Went to one of the best parties I have been to in a while. It took place in a large office building's loading dock in Minneapolis. Inside the dock there was a DJ, and inside one of the trucks parked in the dock some kid picked the lock, set up a table with alcohol for sale, and placed the two kegs.
The DJ played a long set (5 hours) and it was a fucking good one. Mixed rap, rock, and a lot of remixed techno with fat distorted bass and thick synth lines. It was a good dance night.
Approximately 300 people showed up, I got very drunk, danced for a good portion with strangers, and temporarily got lost in the neighborhood when I went to use my phone. Upon returning I found out one of my friend's got his ass kicked for trying to pocket check someone, and there was an MC battle on some 8 Mile type shit. Saw a lot of people I haven't seen in a really long time, got to catch up with quite a few folks.

On Sunday I went to paint with the crew as the featured artist at the Twin Cities Hip-Hop fest at First Avenue, then got to make loot at a merch booth while watching one of the best beatbox battles I've ever seen. Also got to see Naughty By Nature, which was awesome. Somebody say HEY, ho, Hey, ho, Hey, ho, Hey ho Hip-Hop Hooray!
Today I slept for fourteen hours.
All in all it was a good weekend.
Also biked a little, but the rain has stopped me most of the week... blah.
