Hittin the Road
I have red eyes and a happy heart, as I stayed up all night painting a painting then decided it was time to climb the old fancy horse and head out for a bike ride... and it felt really good. Along the way I saw freight trains being shuffled into and out of the Ford plant, a beautiful girl pumping gas, 5 cop cars cruising with there lights off outside one of my friend's houses (busted), and a really cool sky.
Tonight was a good night.
Tomorrow, rather today back on the job hunt, then over to First Ave. for the Celebration of Hip-Hop. I have to figure out which wall I get to paint and then go home and plan the thing out. That, or skip it altogether and just show up on Sunday with paint and an imagination.
The weekend doesn't seem so much like an exciting thing now that I am temporarily unemployed.
Note to self, start calling my friends about interviews.
