Over 20 years ago I went out with a sex worker for a while. It was the most honest relationship of my life and I miss her greatly. I just vanished on her one day, in short I didn't want her to see what an illness had done to me after I had gotten badly sick. I couldn't stand looking at myself and didn't want her to see either. There was no goodbye and no closure at the time.
About 5 years ago I went back to the club where we met, and there she was, in the same spot she had been the very first time I met her. We hugged and caught up on what had happened. She cried when she saw me, she thought I had died. We were both so happy to see eachother and so sad at the life and family we missed out on together. It was very bitter sweet.
I try not to live with regrets, but I can't help think about her and feel the regret in my heart.

Yeah well... there was one girl I was interested in but that didn't went anywhere since she was already taken. At any rate, all good advice and common sense there
