Update on car sitz:
Fixing the door, replacing the window switch (armrest) & a few other things, cleaning the inside of the car to remove as much of the smell as possible. Everything is being covered by Honda & free of charge! YAY!
Which means I don't have to argue with them about why they should pay, which makes me very very very happy cuz i hate having to pull out The Bitch LOL.
Bad news is I won't get my car back til Tuesday so I am stuck with the Insight til then. I was all excited about it until i drove it. I can see why the Insight didn't do well in the hybrid market. It has HORRIBLE sight-lines, huge blind spots. But even more annoying than that is the response. There is a 30 sec delay from putting my foot on the gas pedal to the car actually moving & then it kinda stutters a bit. Reminds me of a manual transmission car that stutters in 1st gear while accelerating. I'm used to putting my foot on the gas & going! I nearly got hit last night because I misjudged how long it would take me to pull out vs distance of oncoming traffic. But I can live with it for a few more days.
Doing better today...baby steps.

yay, glad to hear they're fixing it all free of charge ! ah what can I say, it might somewhat be related to that odd lag that Civics also had... I'm sure it's not a bad car but hybrids aren't awesome in my book, I'll always prefer a fuel engine, if only for the sweet sound... glad you're alive and well though ! *big hugs*
