So unless I hear from the geeks, I am looking at Night 3 without a computer. KILLING ME!
I accidentally bought Captain America (long story), so I watched it last night. I'm not a big comic book/superhero person & Captn America is frankly the last one I would be interested in, but I am glad I bought it! It was REALLY surprisingly good. Tommy Lee Jones can throw out a deadpan line like no one else, and Hugo Weaving manages to, in his very elegant way, chew up every scene he is in. Probably the only thing I disliked about it was Hugo Weaving's atrocious German accent. Most of the time it was plausible if very watered down, but when he said a word that started with W & he pronounced it as W & not V he lost all believability for me. I know he's Australian & all, but jeez his American accent in the Matrix was awesome, German (IMO) is even easier! Stanley Tucci's accent was pretty damn good, and he's an Italian American. Actually I was horrified most by Tucci's character getting killed as he was one of my favs. The ending left a lot of unanswered questions (mainly prob cuz I don't read comic books). Like what happened to Agent Carter? 70 yrs - prob dead. I really wanna know, was Agent Carter Tony Stark's mom??? Would seem natural to me that she would end up with Howard Stark after believing that Captn was dead. That could make for some REALLY awkward scenes in The Avengers LOL. Was kinda cool how similar Howard was to his son...although perhaps a LITTLE less ego-maniacal. But lordie Tony Stark is just so much fun. Saw the lil teaser for Avengers after the credits. For a non-comic-book-person it is really kinda weird how excited I am to see it. I suppose I have to go see Hulk & Thor now...damn u Marvel movies.
The off-again came over, but he asked me not to blog about it so...I will just say that the conversations we had have been rolling over & over in my head burning my brain. I'm more confused/conflicted than ever.
I really need to shoot another set...or find something to break the monotony of my life...

Keeping my fingers crossed for a call from the geeks.
