Watching season 2 of Six Feet Under (I'm slow, like it on DVD) -- is the whole world insane, each and every person? I think the character writing on that show is good, in a strange way. Each character ends up saying and doing things that are barely realistic. Each time they do it, their character seems just that little bit weirder. Keep it up for hours and hours, and you've gota compelling soap opera filled with completely fucked up people.
