Standing in front of the mirror it struck me - was I alone?
Out of the corner of my eye, he was stretched across the bed in the shadows.
"Who are you I asked him?"
He said - " You will remember"
I whispered a loud _ " Who am I? Really?" (to have done this)
He said - " Don't leave me, I want you to stay. What can I give you that will make you stay. I will give you anything your heart desires."
I laughed softly - "My heart. You can give me nothing that I need and nothing that will matter when the light comes back, I will be gone."
Dawn broke I turned my back and walked from the room - did I walk towards something or just away?
