Sunday, July 3rd, went grand. I slept in until 11 or so; then after killing an hour or two I went to my friend Tim and Lisa's house in Wrightstown to drink and have a barbeque; their house is awesome - it's right on the river and there's this long slope that goes from their house into the river; I wanted to do a bunch of somersaults down it but I was afraid I might hurt myself. Then I went to see War of the Worlds with my dad and that was fantastic! What a great movie, Speilberg directed the shit out of it.
After the movie I went to my friend Chad's apartment to watch the Memorial Park fireworks, which always had a great finale although I admit I've seen better. It was a big group of us and when the fireworks were over we hung out and Chad's cramped apartment for awhile before going back to Wrightstown at Tim's house to sit by a campfire and shoot the breeze. When I got home I tried watching The Prisoner of Azkaban on the couch but I couldn't make it all the way through; I kept nodding off so I just hit the Power button and went to bed.
My friend Chad has this next-door neighbor that he has the hots for. I REALLY hope Chad finally gets a steady girlfriend after all these years (he's 27 and he's a virgin - not entirely by choice, mind you; and I really don't think he's ever got past first base with a girl). She hung out with us for the fireworks and came to Wrightstown for awhile, she seems supercool and has a great sense of humor...only problem is she's 19 and we all know that around that age there's a lot of growing up to do. And the other problem with Chad is he's shy and I think he has no confidence which kills his chances. What Chad does is he takes too much time and gets into the "friend zone", also he can be kind of a pushover which makes him submissive. What is there to do but watch and hope something good will happen?

I have a 19 year old friend who is still a virgin, and has never gotten past kissing and some breif over the short action. If she doesnt get some before her birthday next winter, we are going to buy her a chastity belt.
