Crazy hectic week. I might be going to the International Comic Con in San Diego from July 14-17. All this happened within the last ten days; I found out a friend of mine has hotel reservations and so I applied for a small press table - unfortunately I found out there's quite the waiting list so I may not get a table afterall. However I've already sent in the application so I will call back within a few weeks and if I don't have a table by then, I will probably just bow out of that convention and go to the Small Press Expo instead (which is September). I should have black T-shirts available within a week to buy online. The book is at the printers right now and I will have them here soon. Within the last two days I was commissioned to do a drawing and a painting for a couple friends, so I'll be working on that. Then, just yesterday, I have added a new feature to my website - I will be showing sketches on the home page; which I will be updating constantly. Here's a sample:



I am looking into sending a mass mailing to as many comic book stores as possible. My bank account will be exhausted by the end of the summer, but hopefully I'll get some return from all of it! For those who buy comics - while you're there mention my comic, School: A Ghost Story, to the fine folks behind the counter and let them know that they can go to www.deftoons.com to find information regarding it. Have them email me and I will be happy to hook them up with as many comics they want for a good discount. The comic will be available for wide release in June; you guys can order from my website and I will let you know when the online store is ready!
