Lately my routine is going to coffee shops right after work and drawing for a good three hours, then coming home and unwinding. The coffee shop employees and regulars are starting to know my name.
My dayjob employer today had what we call an "award day", if our company meets our quarterly quota then instead of working we have a banquet and the supervisors give out awards to employees for reaching their goals. I won $100 and some new-age digitized coffee maker; so I am happy as a clam! Then in the afternoon they treated us to a movie; I saw Hitch - it was heeeeeeee-larious! Today was a great day!
Tomorrow after work I will see Constantine, then go to Tom's Garage to see Seamus Fitzpatrick and the McNally Boys and the Jackson Street Polecats. The owner of Oshkosh's New Moon Cafe is in BOTH of those bands - he is going to be one exhausted mother fucker by the end of the night!
