I have two friends who have crushes on a couple bartenders at this one bar they frequent but my friends don't really do anything, they just sit there and watch them like a bunch of wallflowers. I've learned a long time ago never to flirt with a bartender, because 9 times out of 10 they only flirt back to get you to buy another drink. I actually kind of loathe most bars now because over here they're all the same - there's billiards, a dartboard, a jukebox and some tables. How original and imaginative
At least the bars in the Twin Cities had some creativity to them - for instance, one bar and grill had a few televisions hooked up to the old Atari game systems where you could play that sweet old time shit like Pitfall and Missile Command. THAT is cool, I don't care what anybody else says!!! Another bar had lawn bowling on the rooftop (well, it was artificial turf but close enough). There's all sorts of ideas these bar owners could do to make it unique. Around here, the only bars I really like around my area are ones that feature live music, like Mill Creek Blues Cafe or Tom's Garage.
