a few folks have heard i'm taking a break/possibly leaving and just wanted to share here what i wrote on my instagram this morning. this choice is temporary as i adore this community and want to keep making art for myself and the people who enjoy it. i will definitely give you all a head's up when i shoot a final/goodbye set. please remember that i love you all very much and that you're awesome!
Hey y'all. Just a long note here. You're free to scroll past. Just wanted to write an open letter to @suicidegirls @hopefulsuicidegirls ...I'm not ending my (forever hopeful) SG journey per say but I'm definitely taking a break. It's been incredibly discouraging seeing so many girls go instantly pink/photo set bought on their debut set when so many of us hustle and crank out sets. I'm active on the website; I'm in groups, write blog posts, comment on other girls sets, and interact with members. I put up fliers for the @sgblackheartburlesque every year. I first applied in 2009 and had my debut set drop in 2015. I have a total of 8. I'm also plus sized so I'm automatically at the bottom of the pile. I'm not saying I deserve to be pink, but a little recognition from SG headquarters would be nice. Senpai has literally never noticed me. SG helped boost my confidence. Now it's taking it from me. I want to keep what i have left. I have literally gone broke modeling for SG. In case you don't know, hopefuls do not get paid by SG or by anyone. They make money off of US. I love all the girls from the site that I've talked to. Keep shining.
