how has everyone been?! i haven't made an actual blog post in some time and i'm VERY behind on my blog homework! such a naughty girl!
Weather here in maine has been kookoo nuts and i hope everyone is safe out there...sounds like it's a little crazy everywhere so be careful, kittens! (but climate change isn't real right?, she said sarcastically that's why the page is gone from whitehouse.gov? http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2017/01/20/trump-s-whitehouse-gov-disappears-civil-rights-climate-change-lgbt-rights.html, hmmmm.) i chiseled about an inch of ice off my windshield this morning.
on saturday i marched with over 10,000 right here in portland maine to make our voices heard to our community and hopefully, eventually to Mr. Trump. what a truly incredible experience. i've lived in portland all my life but have never felt so close to my neighbors. this is only the beginning. i have several other events lined up, things don't start and end with the march, we have to keep being informed and keep fighting and keep speaking up for the marginalized!
so glad i got to be a part of history with my best friend in the world, Andrea
