hey all you lovely people,
i'm currently writing this from my "sick bed"! i've been down and out since sunday and it sucks. i've been showing up for work every day but leaving early, it's hard to retract and open wound for the surgeon whilst having a coughing fit! and besides that, i'd hate to pass this on to a co-worker or worse yet, a patient. so here i am sitting in bed feeling very sorry for myself. i don't ever get sick so i'm acting like a big baby! the saddest part though, is that i was going to shoot a new SG set this upcoming saturday and i just don't think my body can take it :( i'm home alone and just want someone to rub my back and read to me (my dear Papa would always read to me when i was sick, i miss him so much but especially days like today).
so anyone have any home remedies?? please comment! i have stuffy then runny nose, chest congestion, coughing, a touch ache-y, sore throat. i've been drinking tea, using Afrin (for sinus relief), Delsym (cough syrup) and taking zinc, but nothing is working! i even got a flu shit last week! so time for plan b, hippie remedies.
i adore you all. get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluid!
