Quite an uplifting meeting at work today; the company i work for equaled their forecast for this year despite the recession we are in and my unit manager said that he was in a position where he might actually need to hire additional numbers of staff as opposed to laying staff. A very good message in deed, since I've just lumbered myself with all kinds of debt. Grrr.

Having said that though, we were worried, especially in my team because we've seen the work slow right down - so much that we have time to pass funny drawings around;
