Monday the 1st will see me producing more video and an ocean of new, and hopefully, improved stills. I have arranged two separate shoots, one welcomes back Natalia and the other sees me work with an established glamour model, Cate Harrington.
As I analyse the resources I have available it becomes clear that the type of production I want to produce is not yet quite within my reach. Mostly, I lack finance - money can obviously afford you things, everything has its price and with a higher budget I believe I could begin producing higher quality, narrative driven, creative vignettes of adult entertainment, at present that era seems far away.
The trouble is, my product is unsellable because a) my mind is ever changing and I am never focused on one part of it long enough to develop a tangible skill and b) I've found shopping stills around to be particularly hard, in fact, damn near impossible, no one seems to want to buy them. A self-contained adult production on DVD lends itself for direct sale to the public and is capable of providing far more entertainment, it is also something I am better at producing but in all my planning, in all my brainstorming and in all my script writing I always fall at the same hurdle - how will I pay for this? How will I pay for that? For now, at least, I'm going to stick with stills, an expensive decision but what choice do I have. There is still experience to be gained from shooting stills and I may even surprise myself and take some great shots at these forthcoming shoots. We'll see and of course you will too, I'll be prompt-er than usual with updates as I will going away shortly after the shoot.
In the future however, it remains a long-term goal for me to raise a modest amount of cash, put together a small crew of friends and talent and see if I can pull off a narrative driven adult film, of which there seem to be so few about these days, host a premier party and sell it.
