Just watched Freedom Writers, what an awesome inspirational film, i used to really like Dangerous Minds with Michelle Pfeifer and although i still love it Freedom Writers has surpassed it, it's longer for a start and shockingly more relevant in Modern-America. It's a film that gets you wanting to go out in the world and change your life. I really recommend it.
I also saw 300, pretty decent, it is true what people are saying - that's a little slow in rare moments of the film but not so slow you leave the viewing. The somewhat anti-climactic ending was a little insulting to the legend, i felt.
I'm now on my fourth driving lesson and slowly learning which side of the road we England folk drive on. Been up to Walkden (in my first lesson), and from then on every lesson i've been along the Lancs and Worsley road. I'm pretty pleased with the improvements i'm making with every lesson i have. I don't want to give up and quit yet, which is a new feeling for me. My teacher is pretty ace too, he doesn't piss around and is pretty fun and talkative so theres none of that akward silence.
I've started working on a cople of things with a couple of people from work, both of which have kicked off something inside me that i thought was left dorment. You'll probably find out more about them in due course.
I don't take enough pictures, from now on my camera and i are going to be inseperable. Watch out! I think i should post some images on here soon.
I want to start going out even more! I don't know where though, places seem to get boring after a while.
