ack! is there anything more disgusting than a summer cold? my head hurts, my lungs are filled with crap, i'm coughing shit up and day quil makes me jittery.

feels like... hmm... like... okay, here we go. when i first started going to duluth to work, i'd have the worst time making it home without falling asleep. sometimes i'd have to stop at rest stops and lock the car and just sleep because i'd catch myself nodding off behind the wheel. SO! inspired by the truckers of yore, i bought a bottle of ephedrin in hopes those little bastard pills would keep me awake! now, when i took the ephedrin by itself, nothing. i figured it must not work. but then i drank a mountain dew. and then i started twitching.

now it's important to know that this didn't actually keep me awake; just made me really really twitchy and spastic. actually, the first night this happened i was still falling asleep so i pulled over to take a nap... and, still twitching like some kinda speed freak, everytime i'd almost fall asleep i'd jerk awake, terrified and heart pounding. i'd be positive that i was still driving, and in fact was going to crash because i'd fallen asleep behind the wheel.

that's how i feel right now.

in other news, i'd like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who offered insight on my dilemma... hehe... and everybody who 'sang' to me via this machine. fuck, you guys are cool. giving me warm fuzzies... i was so overwhelmed i peed. as i often do.

and you guys know how much i like to pee...

hmm... anything else? do be do... gotta work in a couple of hours... not going to be the latest night... but we'll see how i fare with this cold. i'm thinking... more day quil. and a sign reading biohazard, just so the guys know.
