I always feel odd about updating after a blog with lots of comments. I keep thinking that people are more likely to comment if someone else has, if there's proof of conversations with other people, anyway...


I went to my last unmarried friend's wedding last week end. There were some good speeches where they shared some cool little personal tid bits, those little things that make up people. It was something that didn't really come up at a different friends wedding or my brothers. It reminded me of my friendship with link, Michelle, those little moments you never thought you would want but turn out so interesting. Knowing not to give her stuffed animals, both of us laughing when said she was just pure evil, that I managed to nick name her and she liked it. Joking about putting her possible future children's names over the C-section scar. I felt a bit honored that they let me ( and the other invited wedding guests) in on there little quirks.


They did a slide show, pictures of each of their childhoods and beyond, put to good music for each other and then the cute couples photos. It did make me a bit sad wondering if I do end up with a chance to get married what pictures would they have of me from the last 13 years? I can think of a few, but I don't think they would fill out much of a song. Goes a bit along with this person or that or online dating profiles wanting a picture and having to go with self shot in the bathroom mirror,
