Had my first day at my new job today. I just wasn't what I expected. It wasn't the worst first day I've had. And I remember the first month or so at the job I just got laid off from sucked. I guess my perspective is kind of off after being at the same place for 3.5 years. I know it will get better as I get things figured out, get my self sorted out in the new shop. Unfortunatly that is going to involve buying around $200 of stuff for work, at least I'll get $60 or 70 of it back with my taxes.
I tried calling _____ tonight to cheer myself up a bit as I think it's her first day back at school today. See how she did there. I knew I wouldn't get her, but you always still hope right up till you hand up the phone.
