You know how your not susposed to get women certain things as presents? That no matter how usefull 'blank' maybe to them you just can't give it as a gift or the earth will spin out of its orbit or something.

Some how I've been getting away with murder.


A few weeks ago I very sucessfully gave a vacume as a present. And today (seven days early) I gave a girl a rather nice badger hair shaving brush. I figured it would be a good gift as it showed I remembered a conversation I had with her three months ago, and it would mean a lot to her. Well it turned out it did.

I had feared that it would be seen as my desire to know she shave(s)(d) her badge, and ended up looking like


I'm glad she liked it. I will say I do harbour a dream that she tells her boyfriend (with whom I share a name and two letters of the next name). "if we ever break up I'm going out with 'bender' it may only last a few weeks and that won't be enought to justifly the reason I would pick him but I'll do it anyways."
