If you do things right people won't be sure you've done anything at all.
Some one I have worked with for over a year just noticed that I put extra leather pieces on my left light work gloves. He thougth I had found some company that sold gloves with more leather on one glove than the other of a pair. And it's not like he had no reason to suspect, I have patches on my work pants and work boots.
