happy friday the 13th by the way.
for some reason the internet is SOOOOOOOO SLOOOOOWWWWW for me in the afternoon and evening. I guess all the school kids are using up all the band width now that there parents aren't bugging them to do homework. probabily just shaw being slow to upgrade again. any way I'm going to get going now before my beard grows another inch rather than try to check out some porn. I'll be back in the morning when things are back to lighting speed.
So it's morning
the record high temperature for the city, on any day, got broken on wednesday ( it may have been tuesday) anyway 36.3 C, ( that's about 97 F if you swing that way) , (( that's exactly 309.3 K if your nerding out right now)). which I admit isn't really that hot if you live in Arizona, but this is a harbor city. The other issue is that I'm a welder, so I was wearing long pants and big boots all day. and being out side carrying heavy stuff or inside wearing a hat and half a leather jacket, unable to usefully have fans going.
So work was a lot of me sweating and not getting a whole lot of work done.
I also managed to make spaces the wrong size by and inch, so add that to the I'm going to get fired pile.
I saw Nacho Libre this past week, watching most of the extra and commentary meant it took most of the week. It was a good one for what it is. I also finally finished reading 'stranger in a strange land' and just like starship troopers I don't see how it came to be called the best sci book. It really made me want to start writing my intergalactic hitch hiker book because it made me feel I could do such a better job. I just want to get the story I'm writing up to a good editing stage first.
I have more to say but have to go again. back sometime.
