wow so I haven't updated my journal for a while. so many things:

because most of my family is traveling this christmas I have gotten two sets of presents already. I got a digital multimeter from my half sister, well her husband really. it's kind of weird seeing hecho en china written on something. and some more tools from my dad. On that note so far my mom and dad have bought the EXACT same bench grinder, not something I asked for my nice. And the same soldering iron. So I'm keeping my mom's iron, dad's grinder.

I think I have solved my cars overheating problem. The new thermostat I put in in october seems to have been sticking. I hate it when new parts don't work.


On a sadder note my boss at the job I finished today ripped his middle finger off on a metal lathe. Being a trooper/business owner he showed up the day after his surgery. He was accutally in the break room monday morning. every one was being kinda causous, waiting for him to bring it up or ask for help. then one of the concrete shop guys comes in, looks at him and says 'wow what the hell happened to you.' the boss took it ok. hopefully he takes his wife and sons christmas gift well.



they bought him a guitar back in november.
