Its a damn shame that nobody will ever read this, but here's a an inconsequential little note for posterity:
I should begin by explaining I hate Harry Potter and everything associated with that odious franchise. Admittedly, this can be partially explained by having previously worked for an online bookseller for eighteen months. Now, I've no objection to kids reading them, but what kind of stunted intellectual growth has led mature adults to regard these books as a satisfying literary experience?
I can see this is going to become very rambling unless I cut to the chase... so the latest in the series (published last year I believe) was 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'. Contemplating this one day my macabre imagination transformed this into 'Harry Potter and the Hors d'Oeuvre of the Foetus'. Ah, how smug I felt at the time with my witty verbal manipulation! Now it was just a case of waiting for the opportunity to throw this gem into a conversation. But wouldn't you know it, no such opportunity has ever presented itself. And the moral of this story? Well, I'm afraid there isn't one.
