Dragon*Con was a lot of fun, and she had a great birthday weekend. Hate that we don't get enough time together, but at least we have made the most of our time together. Hopefully I can manage a trip up to see her around Halloween, and she'll be down for a visit around Christmas. Long-distance sucks pretty hard at times.

I should have posted here and bitched about how long it took me to get my iPhone (8 hours in line....never again!). At least it's worked well for me, and I'll soon have my free bumper in. Anyway, that's just tying in to my last post. I've been doing pretty well lately. Currently I'm getting geared up for Dragon*Con next month. It should be great since I get to see my GF again after quite a few months apart. Long-distance relationships can be hard, and I'm really hoping that I can move much closer to her in the near future. I do believe it will be after I can finish up a couple of more semesters in college, since I'm halfway through my junior year finally. I had to drop out a decade ago due to a heart condition, and I'm finally able to get back into the swing of things with school. I've got a few people I need to go talk to over the next month or so, but I hope to be back in this Spring. All in all, I'm very hopeful for the future. I'll try to post here a bit more often, just normally lack much to say!

In New Orleans for a couple of days, and so far it has been a good trip. Here till Thursday, then back home. Luckily the weekend should be good as well, old friend back home after awhile out of town due to health reasons.
