a few random evening thoughts...

1.

through a window i speak
i tell the buildings my joys and my sorrows
it pulsates its scattered lights back at me in response
the city has become my nightlight

2.

if only my pen
would move during the night
to write of my dreams
i have about you

3.

dodging between salt splattered cars
i walk briskly through the winter wind
the river flows against my grain
i keep my head towards the crackled sidewalk
to look up would be painful
but i look up towards my dreams
and my joy numbs the cold
