last two days its been like 36'C which is pretty close to 100'F i think,too bloody hot for me.....but xmas eve i head up the coast and meet up with familia on a property we have shares in....river,ocean,an abundance of birds and the occasional kangaroo....i think i'll be spending a fair amount of time in that river...i'll make sure i post some pics when i get back....in the meantime another 2 weeks of city/xmas chaos.

im glad all went well at the protest
this one time in a Rochester summer of 1995(i think) went to something called "The Nerve 94.1 (stupid local radio station) Birthday Bash" and people started rioting and the police came out blasting with tear gas

i got away like a smart communist

most of my friends got gassed

kind of like the jews in the holocaust

except the police allowed them to have their lives and their gas fillings

however, that last racist comment was not said arbitrarily

there is a really really good book written shortly after WWII called

THE ROAD TO SURFDOM

that draws parralells between america and nazi germany, you know, the whole third reigh ding a ling

.....yeah, think about why this book is not very popular........

when i was in high school i worked in the cafeteria. no, no, not in a Lunch Lady Doris capacity, but in a filling-the-vending-machines-and-getting-to-see-all-the-new-candy-first capacity. it was a great job. and it paid well. and i got lots of candy.
