ok, ok...i know, you've been waiting for details...life's been INSANE around here and finally i have a moment to breathe. so, it's details time.
saturday night my guy, my roommate, and some friends of ours went to see a fundraiser dragshow at the university bar. had a few drinks, the performers were amazing, had a good good time. fortunately, a ticket stub from the performance also gave you a free admission without a membership the Gay & Lesbian Community of Regina centre, which happens to have one of the best nightclubs in town in it. of course, my roommate, a few of our friends, and i decided to go. my guy went home as he had to work on sunday. while we were at the university bar, one of the girls who came with one of our friends started to hit on me a bit. nothing major...but there was some tension... my roommate was between the two of us and as we sat there talking, she entwined her fingers in mine behind his back as she pleaded for me to come out with them. a sucker for a cute face and a pleading, i decided that i really needed to go. my guy dropped us off, and we proceeded to the club.
the drinks flowed, the music wound through our ears and bodies, much dancing ensued. about half an hour after we got there, i was feeling fine, dancing my ass off. the friend of the friend (let's call her Elle), was doing the same, and i was oblivious. i've gone so long with not being able to tell if i could hit on a girl or not or having a girl hit on me that even though we were at a gay/lesbian/bisexual bar, i was just there dancing. suddenly, Elle leans over with this cute smile on her face and says 'would it be ok if i kissed you?' warmth spreads through my spine and i fumble, grin a little, blush a lot, and say 'absolutely'. so she kisses me. right in the middle of the dance floor. sweet, gentle, kisses turning to a little bit of tongue, and then she pulls away with this crazy sexy/michevous grin spread across her cheeks. i grin, and go back to dancing, thinking this is it. this is my awesomeness for the night. i can't expect it to get better...
and now i'm going to bed and if i get the chance will hopefully continue with more tomorrow.
hope you're all doing well. a few questions for you:
1) if you could judge a high school science fair, would you?
2) fill in the blank: four thousand men died in the water here and five hundred more were thrashing madly, as parasites might in________
3) how might i stop this crazy merry-go-round again?
much much

Sorry, I thought you had seen my previous journal entries. What's happening is we're trying to set up some sort of night where us SG folk can have a couple drinks and kick back for a bit. There's at least 8 or 9 of us now, so it seemed like it was about time. They do it in other cities, and apparently it's lots of fun. Bringing a friend will be optional, seeing as it might be weird just going by yourself if you don't know anyone personally. You should bring Jay.
We haven't decided an exact night though. I'll message you when we figure things out.
