moisture hangs in the air
the sky drips grey
clouds cover the azure arch that fills the horizon
fog slightly obscures vision, giving the world an ethereal quality
edges blurred
sound of engines silenced
powerlines buzz like swarms of large angry bees
snow crunches underfoot
cool moist air caresses my face
wake up today
frost hangs from the trees
shakes loose in the wind
i wish to photograph it all
capture it
but i have to work
funny how the most beautiful days can be ruined by having to come to work.
a perfect stranger went out of his way to be amazing this morning. because of him, i caught the bus that i had missed while running to my stop this morning. i don't know who he was, but he made my day. if i was given to kissing old men driving buses, i totally would have gave him a big smack, right then and there. my faith in humanity, faltering at best, is bolstered on days like this.
if a stranger did something nice for you one day, would you pay it forward and do something nice for another stranger?

a. I read signs that I walk or drive past out loud.
I think all the peoples of the world can be divided into two categories: those who read random signs out loud and those that are baffled by the first group (The possible third group, those who are illiterate, would fit in either of the first two if they were taught to read).

d. Questions are never indiscreet. Answers sometimes are.
The story about the old man and the bus is great. It is sometimes hard for us to remember that not all people are bastards. Just most of them.
a. tell me about a quirk of yours (phobia, worry, personal oddity, etc.) - Ugh. I have so many. Phobias: Heights, spiders, drowning/water, small spaces. Worries? hmmm...will i ever succeed at anything? Personal oddities: None anymore really but back when i was suffering from mental problems i was extremely paranoid.
b. word association: electron - Blaster! Sorry, i'm a comic book geek.
c. what one thing would you like to be able to do really well? - Math or anything that is useful in an everyday real world sense. I'm an artist and a dreamer, neither of which have ever paid very well.
