i'm in pyjama pants, a sweatshirt, and nothing else at work right now, and it's great. this, of course, is because i'm working at home again today. i love it. i get up at 820 and i'm at work at 830. of course, this means that i should use a bit of time to eat some breaky, but i'll get to that. i think i'm more productive when i work at home too - i work for a few hours solid which doesn't happen at work because there's always someone bugging me - then i take a break, then i work, then i take a break, and usually get a lot of shit done. yay for working at home.
the boy's phone rang at 645 this morning (ewwww...much too early...well, 20 mins to early anyway). one of his staff called to let him know that a couple of guys broke into the hotel at 2am while he was working. luckily, he scared them off and there are a couple of other folks around. but it's still scary. i think they need a security company until they're operational and it's much too risky to break into a full hotel, but they won't pay for it. but whatever, it's up to them...as long as no one gets hurt and they're willing to keep paying for the broken windows
and now, for Knecht (and all of you other lovely people who enjoy such geekiness), a science haiku:
primordial ooze
natural selection works
amphibian legs
i'm working on remembering more biology classes from my undergrad, but stupid buzz words from my PR work keep screaming louder than what i spent 4 years of my life committing to memory. it's sad really.
are you doing the job you thought you would be right now? i'm not.

I did try a non-contaminated bottle some time later, and it was quite good. A little peculiar, as one might hope, but very palatable. Worth a try.
(No, in case you're wondering, I've never tasted a corpse... just using my imagination here...
Edited to say: Actually, I am doing more or less what I thought I might do...
Also: Tori has a new album??? Excuse me while I run to the record shop...
