when i was in high school i worked in the cafeteria. no, no, not in a Lunch Lady Doris capacity, but in a filling-the-vending-machines-and-getting-to-see-all-the-new-candy-first capacity. it was a great job. and it paid well. and i got lots of candy.

which brings me to one of my worst vices - candy. i love candy. i know it's bad for me, and i probably shouldn't eat it at all, but the little sugar pixies call to me... not that i sit on the couch and stuff my face with the stuff regularly. but enough that when i'm at the store, if i see something that i love, i buy it and eat it and love the whole time i'm gnawing at it. eventually my metabolism will slow down and i'll end up huge or else i'll finally start getting cavities, but until then - bring on the sugah!

my favorites have to be - laffy taffy, nerds (of any sort, but loving the ones on a rope!), love hearts, rockets, and punkys (if i could find the damn things)...
