ok, got the bitchin' out of my system today, and i'm going to try to turn over a new leaf for december. usually, december succeeds in making me frustrated, disillusioned, and crazy, 'specially with all the xmas stuff going on...but i'm going to try so very hard not to be phased by it. the first holiday party this year happened this past weekend and it was great, and i'm hoping i can ride that for a while.
so to start (in Amelie tradition):
I like
- the quiet sound of a very small town on a beautiful winter day when the trees are clothed in hoar frost and there's no noise but some birds singing.
- running my fingers over the cool, smooth, small chunks of rock on one of my favorite necklaces
- the sound and feel of my sweet orange tabby cat sitting on my chest while purring and rubbing his silky head against my hand
I dislike
- the taste of envelope glue on my tongue
- the way windows xp tells me a list of my programs is "being populated"

- that I do not have to hide my skin from the blistering sun, because finally, it's not TOO hot.
- friends randomly calling me out of the blue.
I dislike-
- being just feet away from major car accidents occurring around me.
- my laundry dryer not working, and then tripping up the stairs and really hurting my wrist.
