Not too much going on right now, this weekend has been a blur, as have these past few days.

The Birthday Cake I made came out really great, I can't wait to do another. I need to go buy some sheet trays and recipe cards, all my recipe's are so unorganized, I have way too many. But instead of having too many shoes and clothes everything, I have so many recipes, baking utensils & cookbooks laying everywhere in my apartment! I love it though, spending money on my passion, baking. I never regret a penny spent on cake flour

I'm still looking for a job, I don't want anything too demanding right now because I want to focus on baking on the side also, so just another retail job for now. Instead of finding a job at a bakery, I'd rather work retail and bake for myself. Although I am the one funding it, there's no other way to get yourself started.
All this finding a job so I can pay this off, that off, has been so old ever since I started living away from home. I don't want to live in crazy city, I don't want to be a part of the daily rush. I want to head out where I can have my own land, build my own home and take care of my self and those I love.

Self-sufficiency is so desirable, I aim to get there everyday. But for now I am stuck and while I'm stuck, I've been doing what makes me happy and it hasn't been easy I've come to find, with so many people still against what many of us find to be common amongst our daily lives.

I wish I had more pictures to show, maybe later this week I can do some practice shots to get those up. I'm still looking forward to the photo shoot with my friend! Coming very soon!
