So western is officially fucking me, hard and with a chainsaw.
So the beginning of this semester, I registered for 2 of the same sections of the same class at different times, and then dropped the one that didnt work with my schedule the first week. This is not uncommon, a lot of people do this, I have done this before and never had a problem.
Fast forrward, I ended up dropping all of my classes this semester to take a well needed emotional break, to get my shit together. So I go to register for january, and I am fairly excited since, I am now bored and looking forward to school and making a new start. I figure out my schedule an then go to register online.
NO DEAL, there is an accounts reciavable hold on my account for 900. So I call, and am told that I never dropped the other class, and I have to pay for it. My response, why in the fuck would I be registered for 2 of the same fucking class? So westerns "answer" is to file an official tuition appeal. Im like ok, I can do that, well, that takes 4 WEEKS, and until its resolved, I cant register for school.
In 4 weeks there will be no classes left to register for, and when I poliltely asked the woman, what am I supposed to do, her response, "just pay the 900 and you will most likely get it back" UMM do ya think I really ahve 900 sitting around? then she told me, well get your parents to pay for it, and well that is not the way my situation works.
Im fucked, and stressed out, and I need to start school again, because I want to fucking finish, and this whole situation just really sucks.
I hate western, is it really inconceviable that with 30000 plus sudents that their computer system fucked up?
