Work is really kicking my butt. We are so short staffed and the weather is causing us to be busier and busier. Don't get me wrong I love it, but my plate is so full right now, and I'm surrounding by quite a few co workers that have no work ethic! I just don't understand how these people complain about not making enough money to work this hard and they think they are the best workers around! It's like "I watch you all day and have to babysit you to get your cleaning done for the night..... You stand around talking all day long. How is that hard work?
And here I am having to work off the clock to get shit finished because we're not allowed to go overtime, and then these fools dip out early!
I could just work my 8 hours and dip out but then my manager would have to pick up the slack, and he's a doll. He's already pulling 12 hour days or more. I couldn't do that to him.
I love both my managers. They completely have my back. They're trying to get new people in and trained pronto so those fools that don't want to work can get their hours cut.
I just have to hang in a little longer.
