Still too crook to fly, so hitched a truck out of the desert, home for a week to kill off this thing - then back up!

Bloody well missed the opportunity to catch up with an Aussie SG member due to being crook - very dark on the universe for that!!!

900 clicks on dirt today, South Aust into South West Queensland on a hot shot run out to rig 142.

2 bloody punctures and the damned jack broke on the first blow out.

Day off!!!

No rigs, no teaching, so out came the old (old) bike for a bit of a spin.

Test ride in the paddock, not concentrating, and hit a spot where the horses had been pawing. Bike ok, me a bit knocked around, ego, massively shattered as I was getting that euphoric "The world is mine." manic grin, just prior to unplanned and grossely undignified...
