Holy fire. I have been watching Shingeki No Kyojin recently and it has been consistently blowing my fragile mind during office lunch breaks (I take an hour... that time, is my time).
I did not draw this... actually it's not so easy to find out who did, but I do like it.
It is excellent and is the only anime that I have watched in recent times that envokes a hell of a lot of NGE without ever actually ripping on it directly... (apart from the giant nameless and faceless enemy that will no doubt take on a reflective reality in the closing episodes. Ok. So it rips a lot from NGE, but I never feel it disturbing the story or descending into total homage, it is definitely still it's own thing).
I don't know why, but I guess I just love watching the despair!
The character in the picture above is Mikasa Ackerman the central protagonists 'best friend' from childhood. She is a full badass and I'm pretty sure this pose is quite out of character (all cosplay please forward to my inbox, a thank you).
Halloween was messy... a few friends and I went out to a houseparty/gig in a living room for one of the bands 'Peter Criss' manages as....... 'French Kiss' AKA, racially insensitive French costumes, but with Kiss face makeup. It was amazing. Now you get that Peter Criss reference. Right? Yeah you do.
