Completed Doom 3 last night... I wouldn't normally post my relatively minimal gaming adventures here, but this was a journey. I went to hell and back! Literally.

Yay it's the easter 'hols', AKA it's never really a holiday as I have loads of essays to write and revision to get started. But still, I am really enjoying getting some decent rest and waking up at the crack of noon for at least one week of the breaak before I get totally into work mode and set my sights on my finals. I can't believe it's all coming to a close, it feels like it's all gone so quickly, as does everything with retrospect.

I hate being a student and I am starting to feel distain for the general student population (there's not that much change there then really - Ed) but I'm not sure I'm ready for the wider world really. It's a phrase or converstion echoed by many of my peers, so I suppose I'm not that different to most other near grads which is mildly reassuring. I suppose I just hate surprises really so all this 'waiting' is getting me down.

I know I can get a degree, I've done the work and will continue to do so. Can't they just give me my bit of paper now and get it all over with
