Gregwise came round last night with Joshua Tree to discuss love, life and laundry and we ended up getting out the noise machines. By noise machines I mean, synth, guitars and drum machines. At frst we were just messing about annoying the neighbours with drum and bass and really dark industrial messes, after much laughter chatter and about 'too many' spliffs Gregwise conviced me to play him some of my own songs. Now, dispite being a musician for a long time having played in many bands over the years I've never had the courage to showcase my song writting, only my tongue in cheek electronic production see Bee Stealers. But they really liked it, hip hop beats are a fave of mine and Gs and mix of acoustic guitars and soft synth led stuff he said was really cool. So, to cut a long story short. Gregwise and I are goign to reform Bee Stealers as a Becklike affair as I had originally intended it to be. Processed beats and acoustic intruments, calm indie folk tunes flowing into electro and drum and bass with a melanin rich undertone.

Thining about these 10 bands kept me up to, well now, last night:

We're going to be doing this project undercover. Everyone already thinks I'm a band whore and I don't want the other bands I play in geting jelous. They're like that despite the fact that I come to them with ideas all the time and get shot down coz I'm 'not the song writer around here'. So keep it quiet guys...
